Accommodation in Malawi is readily available, from luxury hotels to campsites. Bookings can be made via your tour operator or directly with the potential host. Most accommodation in Malawi would have air conditioning, private parking, room service, serve hot food and drinks, however please get confirmation on the kitchen and or bar running times.
Campsites are readily available in the rural areas especially within site attractions, care must be taken with belongings and where possible ask senior management to lock away valuables in a safety box, alternatively keep them on you away from site. Most campsites, lodges, hotels and resorts are enclosed within high fences as well as have their own security readily available. Mosquito nets are supplied; nevertheless visitors are encouraged to still use insect repellent as an extra precaution.
